Alongside celebration and tradition, December also marks a time of reflection as the year comes to a close. For many professionals and business owners alike, gearing up for the year’s end, also means preparing for what’s to come.

This month we cover some tactile tips and business skill builders that will support our work well beyond the season, like mastering Quickbooks and utilizing crowdfunding.  Educators will receive some thoughtful recommendations for resetting their classroom in the New Year, and we’ll hear from a small business owner that just so happened upon an opportunity to open her own salon.

We will also kick off our three part series on tax preparation for professionals with Tax Time Part 1: Master Tax Preparation, and Get It Together--our three part series on organization. We’ll share some thoughts to help pick the best planner for your business and personal needs in the upcoming year. Lastly, a list of winter reads to cozy up to this season, and a list of exciting non-required reading for parents to share with their curious learners.

This month, we will honor a year well-lived, and put our best foot forward for the year to come.
