Tip #1 — Do your research

Before meeting up, look up any prospective business partners online. A simple web search, the Better Business Bureau, review platforms such as Yelp or even social media, can show you how a business interacts with their customers.

Tip #2 — Check credentials

Be sure to confirm the business is properly insured and can provide any and all licenses and permits as required by your city and state. Also consider requesting a background check for individuals working around children.
